Subiaco is located 4km from Perth CBD, spanning across an area of 3.2 square kilometres with a population of approximately 9,202. It is renowned for its historic architecture, cultural heritage and vibrant community. Subiaco was also home to the Subiaco Oval, a famous Australian rules football stadium which hosted many Western Australian Football League (WAFL) matches and also some Australian Football League (AFL) matches. The suburb also features a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as a farmers’ market. Additionally, Subiaco is home to several cultural institutions, such as the Subiaco Museum and the Regal Theatre, which host a variety of events and performances throughout the year. The local schools in the area are Perth Modern, Bob Hawke College & Subiaco Primary School and its neighbouring suburbs include West Perth, Shenton Park, Daglish, Jolimont, Wembley and West Leederville.
